Thats right, go buy from the big boys! I always suggest giving your money to a mom and pop shop, even when buying a bathroom vanity cabinet. However, when it comes to internet shopping you dont want to trust some no name site or brand that you dont know. Go to the big boys, like Home Depot. I know what you are thinking, ” Did they pay me to write about home depot and bathroom vanities?”, and the answer is…..I wish!

The NY Times Give’s Its Furniture Industry Overview

Contuing on the note that I think that you need to research the manufacture before you buy from the retailer, read this article from th NY Times. It states that most of the big boys bought all the small boys that did not go out of business. Intresting read, dosn’t quite support what i was talking about regarding bathroom vanities, however, i do suggest it!

The Online Market Of Bathroom Vanitites

In these economic times it is always wise to take a look at a market before you buy things. My last post warned you not to buy a bathroom vanity cabinet from a retailer that is selling a product from a  manufacture that has gone out of business.  Ah yes, i see light bulbs going off in your head!

Lets take a quick look at the online market place for bathroom vanity cabinets.

This link to Google Trends show us that the bathroom vanity market is on the rise, dispite the economic turn down. However, it does seem that the winter months are slower for this industry. My goal with this website is to sell it to a bathroom vanity distributor or manufacture someday. My only hope is that the market place holds!!!!!!!!

The Stockholm Collection – Not the one you find at IKEA!

More and more i am seeing these wonderful bathroom vanity cabinets from the Stockholm Collection. After doing some digging it looks like the swedish furniture giant has a collection named “Stockholm” as well. I must warn your now “TO DIFFERENT COLLECTIONS!!!”

Some of you that read my blog know that i am a batchler that spends his time posting content about bathroom vanity cabnits. I might not be the richest one around, but i will not buy a bathroomvanity from ikea, even if they did rip of the Stockholm name.

Once thing to keep an out of for folks is all of these bathroom vanity cabinet sells going on online. Just a tip. Check it out, just Google (or BING….your welcome alice) “bathroom vanity” and you will see a bunch of ads calling for up to 80% off bathroom vanity cabinets.

Looks like this economy is getting to this industry. Just remember, before you buy a vanity from an online retailer, make sure the manufacture is still in business!

Stockholm Collection – Double Vanity

This is a nice bathroom vanity cabinet, a double vanity by the Stockholm Collection. This vanity retails around $2,699.00 – However you can find it for a little over 1 thousand at some places. I recommend this vanity in an area that has a lot of open space. The style fits the modern person.

The wood is Kin-dried selected and very dry. You can expect low warping and craking from this feature. Also, the finish on this vanity makes it perfect for homes in high elevation enviroments with high humidity.
